Hi, I’m Saba Sohrabi, an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Certified Menopause Coaching Specialist, based in Brisbane, Australia.
I help women in perimenopause and menopause feel stronger, move with less pain, and reconnect with their bodies through personalised, evidence-based exercise.
My passion lies in helping women navigate this powerful stage of life with confidence and clarity. Over the years, I’ve worked with many women who’ve felt dismissed, confused, or unsure of how to support their changing bodies. I’m here to change that.
I believe in the power of education.
When you understand what’s happening in your body — whether it's due to hormonal changes, chronic pain, or years of movement avoidance — you can start making informed, empowered choices. That’s why education is at the heart of everything I do. I break down complex science into practical, real-life tools that help you feel more in control of your health and movement.
Who is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist?
As an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP), I am specialised in using exercise as medicine — helping people improve their health, manage pain or chronic conditions, and move with greater confidence.
AEPs are university-qualified allied health professionals, accredited through Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA), the national peak body for exercise and sports science. We complete a minimum of four years of specialised education in anatomy, physiology, movement science, and the use of exercise interventions to manage chronic and complex health conditions.
We’re trained to understand how the body responds to exercise in the presence of injury, illness, or pain — and how to use movement safely and effectively as part of a treatment or prevention plan.
What makes AEPs unique is our ability to:
Understand and interpret medical conditions and physical limitations
Design safe, tailored exercise programs based on clinical evidence
Support people with chronic pain, menopause-related changes, osteoporosis, arthritis, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, ...
Help individuals return to function after injury or surgery
Empower people to move better, age well, and regain control over their health
We don’t just hand out generic exercise plans — we deliver a personalised, whole-person approach based on your goals, limitations, and lifestyle.
Whether you're looking to ease long-standing pain, rebuild strength during menopause, or slow age-related decline, I have the ESSA-accredited training, knowledge, and experience to guide you every step of the way.
